Student Networking Opportunities

Conferences provide great opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about the Supply Chain Management profession.

The CESCM sponsors SCM students to attend SCM conferences throughout the year to enable educational and networking opportunities; including the ISM, APICS, CSCMP, NMSDC and National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) conferences, among others.

During the academic year, CESCM hosts SCM Think Tanks and Hands-on Training Workshops, which allow SCM students the opportunity to hear from representatives from various corporations and government entities about their supply chain operations and learn more about the SCM tools and processes used by various corporations in their day-to-day global supply chain management operations. CESCM also regularly hosts Soft Skill Training Sessions on topics such as communication, effective teamwork, leadership, financial acumen, problem solving and entrepreneurship. Soft skills have been identified as essential in developing students into well rounded, highly productive future employees.
